Hi, Interested in driving lessons, you've made a great start.

I am a Fully Qualified Driving Instructor Based in Stalybridge and cover Tameside and Surrounding Areas and your first Lesson is Free.

I am a Fully Qualified Instructor, my car is a dual control Ford Fiesta (all my students love it) and all lessons are one to one. Although driving is a extremely serious undertaking lessons are conducted in a safe, friendly and relaxed atmosphere and all lessons are at your own pace.

The first lesson is free and will involve a pick up at a suitable place:-eg Home/College/Work, from there you will be driven to a suitable location, were the cars controls will be explained before YOUR first drive which involves STARTING and STOPPING and usually turning a few CORNERS, I will then return you to your drop off point, this usually takes two hours.

IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY and do not wish to continue I will leave you with my best wishes.

However should you continue which I am sure you will, then your lessons will cost you 18 per hour(usually longer)and each and every lesson will progress you to all aspects of SAFE DRIVING for LIFE, skills to take you into the future.

What to do next.

You apply for your Provisional licence. To do this you require to be 17 and above, and fill out form D1 obtainable from the Post Office and send it with your Passport or Birth Certificate, and a Passport size photo to the DVLA.

You can also apply online.

Provisional Licences can be applied for three months before your 17th, Birthday but are NOT valide untill your Birthday. You could possibly book your first lesson on the big day.

Ring around for prices, remember ALL professional Driving Instructor have been trained to take and pass THE SAME rigorous examinations laid down by the Driving Standards Agency in order to obtain a FULL instructors licence, some instructors are only trainees, so check.
